Workshop | Cameraless Filmmaking (for ages 8 - 12 years)

  • Burtle Village Hall Burtle Road Bridgwater, England, TA7 United Kingdom (map)

Free

C S John Sparkes lived in Burtle and was an enthusiastic filmmaker who captured life locally using film format called Super 8mm. Inspired by John’s use of film, Artist James Holcombe will lead a fun workshop on how to make films using leader film and found footage. You will scratch, draw and print on it to create loops that can be projected. James will also share his knowledge of how film has developed over the years. No previous experience needed and all materials will be provided. It will be messy and fun so wear clothes you are happy to get ink and pen on.

This FREE activity has been made possible with support from National Lottery Heritage Fund - thanks to all the players.
