Workshop | Earth in Focus

  • The Ark at Egwood Merriott, Somerset TA16 5QN United Kingdom (map)

Free | For ages 12 - 19

Calling all young filmmakers!

Are you inspired by the beauty of the natural world? Would you like to make a film in a day to share your concerns about our changing climate, the importance of conservation and reducing pollution? What concerns do you have? What are your hopes for the future?

Somerset Film is running four one-day workshops for young people across Somerset (no previous filmmaking experience is required) at two inspiring venues. They are FREE to join, but you need to book in advance and be between the age of 12 and 19 to participate.

You will be tutored by two experienced filmmakers and will work as a production team to storyboard, script, film and edit a film.

All films will be entered into the Frome Climate Change Film Festival.

Please note: Participants will need to bring a packed lunch, wear suitable clothing and footwear for outdoors and the weather conditions.
