Somerset Film promotes education in the moving image within Somerset and the South West. We are a registered charity trading as a company limited by guarantee
We are passionate about film and digital media making, and committed to sharing knowledge and skills.
In practice this means we are a one stop shop for moving image based training and education, for facilities, equipment and advice and for the production of all kinds
of video and digital media programmes and installations. The six local authorities in Somerset support us as a
Key Strategic Organisation for the county.
We see on a daily basis the difference that an inclusive
and innovative approach to community media can make, evidence of the clear role that Somerset Film can play – as a resource, a creative focus, a catalyst for action.
