Producing effective digital media...
Somerset Film has a growing track record in successful
public service film production, employing a core team
who, together with talented freelancers, have all the skills
necessary to create effective, dynamic digital media.
In addition businesses have been attracted to commission
our services and this work helps to fund our commitment
to community and education. We also teach, train and
facilitate individuals and communities to make the most of
their creative potential. We take on bursary students and
offer work experience on various productions to develop
creative capacity across the county.
Projects in 2010/11 included
Sustainable Somerset | Website and e-learning
films exploring how to live a healthier, happier, greener
life, commissioned by Sustain Somerset.
Short Breaks | Training film for carers working with
children with disabilities.
Survive and Thrive | Case study films, commissioned
by the Development Trust Association.
Community Connections | Film exploring what
community means to those who live and work in
Somerset, commissioned by Neighbourhood Learning in
Deprived Communities and Somerset County Council.
