A special screening of this classic 1929 Soviet film, directed by Dziga Vertov, regarded as one of the greatest films ever made. Described as 'an exuberant manifesto that 'celebrates the infinite possibilities of what cinema can be.’ followed by a short discussion about the film.

Part documentary and part cinematic art, the film follows a city in the 1920s Soviet Union throughout the day, from morning to night. Voted the best documentary ever made "The spirit of punk throbs in this extraordinary silent classic from 1929" The Guardian.
