March/April has been a busy time for Somerset Film:

• On Track | Support programme for new media businesses continues.

• Capture Somerset | Heritage Lottery/SW Screen supported  archiving project set up and ready to go.

• Our Town, Our Village | Digital media project with eight Sedgemoor schools and Bridgwater Town Council.

• Hello! Can You Hear Us? | Funding confirmation for this young people’s advocacy project.

• Bridgwater Carnival | Film shooting across six carnival clubs underway.

• Ofcom Media Literacy | Four new Somerset community films premiered at event with Community Media Association.

• Other productions underway | Including projects with Taunton Deane young people and on rural museums, neighbourhood learning, public art, environmental development, binge drinking (with Police Community Trust and Bridgwater College) and as part of the Jump Cuts partnership, the Mental Capacity Act and deprivation
of liberty.
