To 'swede' a film means to re-create a trailer, scene, or movie with untrained actors and low-budget props. Join us as we recreate as many moments, lines and scenes from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as we can in two short, fast and fun sessions. Ideal for ages 9 - 12 years.

If you like acting or singing, or making props, or you just fancy being a movie maker - this is for you!

At the end of the activity the final films will be sent to participants so that they are able to share what they have created with friends and family.

Tutor Information: Somerset Film team members Natalie and Alistair will guide participants through the basics of filmmaking and highlight key scenes that can be 'sweded' from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory film. Props will be made during the session and attendees are encouraged to be apart of the film as well as have a go behind the camera.

Watch an example of a 'swede'! Here's our take on Pirates of the Caribbean...
