Social media isn't simply a way of life for young people -- for many it's fundamental to the user’s identity. It has also been shown to be more addictive than cigarettes and alcohol.
Aimed at parents of teenagers but applicable to anyone who has children engaging on social media, this free event will provide a platform for discussion on the impact of social media on the emotional health of our teenagers and explore some approaches to help keep their interactions safe and positive.
Held at The Purplespoon Cafe in Bridgwater YMCA, this evening is a digest of a recent course held at The Engine Room, and has been shaped by the parents who previously attended.
