This workshop is two-day workshop, 10am - 5pm daily.

This two-day, highly practical workshop will be led by James Holcombe. You will learn how to use an H16 Bolex clockwork 16mm film camera, as well as hand processing film using caffenol ecologically sound developer.

Day 1: 16mm Camera Filmmaking Workshop (Saturday 16th)
In the 16mm Camera Filmmaking workshop you will learn how to use an H16 Bolex clockwork 16mm camera, as well as strategies for shooting film in economically friendly ways. Your chance to ask everything you ever wanted to know about photochemical film but were afraid to ask!

Day 2: 16mm Camera Processing Workshop (Sunday 17th)
In the 16mm film processing workshop you will learn how to process b/w using eco friendly coffee developer - totally hands on - you will be processing your film!

No previous experience required. All equipment provided, everything will be digitised and made available for participants after the workshop. 

James Holcombe is an artist, a filmmaker with decades of experience in photochemical film production.  James is the founder of erehwon, previously managed the photochemical lab resources at no.w.here in Bethnal Green, East London.
