Coming Together Through Creativity to Help Others
We are looking forward to attending Sztab WOŚP, a Polish community event in Taunton. It takes place on Sunday 28th January, 12 noon - 6pm, at Wellsprings Leisure Centre in Taunton and we will be there to explore light and motion with kaleidoscopes and VR. There will be lots of other activities to get involved with; live music, food, fun activities, auctions and competitions, come together to have fun and raise funds.
The event is a one-day public charitable fundraiser to celebrate the Polish community and give support for a higher cause in Polish Children’s Hospitals, this year it is for post-pandemic lungs.
The initiative inspires people to volunteer and engage in social activism, giving them an opportunity to bond and act together. Around the world there are thriving Polish communities in; Australia, New Zealand, Japan, across Europe and the Americas, and even at the North Pole research station!
