Overcooked: All You Can Eat

Seems whenever we’re stuck inside for a bit, the urge to cook returns. Who can forget the nations obsession with banana bread? Well, the world of video games has you covered with this co-op cooking piece! The reason it’s in Inclusivity is three-fold. It has a playable wheelchair character called Racoon Chief. It has accessibility controls for larger text, even colour-blind options…and the Swedish Chef from the Muppets is a playable character – need to I say more?

To The Moon

We move to a smaller developer next as we head to the stars. In this game you enter the memories of a dying man who always wanted to, you guessed it, go to Lunar. In 'To the Moon’ he is able to live out his dying wish by the addition of false memories. Think Total Recall just without the Ex- Governor of California. This game is in Inclusivity because one of the main characters has a condition which is never specified but does resemble Autism/Aspergers Syndrome.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Many video games based on comic books have become just as successful as the movies. There are many classics out there like the Batman Arkham Series, The Wolf Among Us or Marvels most recent Spider-Man game. This spin off sees you playing as newly powered Miles Morales. He was first created by Brain Michial Bendis and Sara Pichelli in 2011’s Ultimate Fallout Number 4. Since then, he has become very popular, so much so he became the main character in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Just like his other story's this game gives a voice to various minority ethnic groups who don’t get as much screen time as others.
