We are now accepting applications for our next BFI Film Academy Short Course. Apply by 11pm on Monday 5th January 2026.

BFI Film Academy offers opportunities to get to know more about film and how to forge a career in the screen industry. As a student on the Film Academy short course, you’ll gain hands-on filmmaking experience, working alongside industry professionals to develop practical knowledge and skills. On the seven day course, you’ll get to make two short films, watch films, receive career signposting, with the option to work towards a nationally recognised Arts Award qualification! Read more.
