Capture Chard Stories, Objects & Sounds - fun half-term activity for a creative 3-day experience.
Help build a mini pop-up museum in a digital space, celebrating the people, stories and sounds of Chard. A unique opportunity to explore, learn and create together through digital creativity and local stories, across three days in Chard. Activities include:
3D Scanning & Digital Museum Design – Use 3D scanning techniques to digitise objects and artefacts, bringing them to life in a shared virtual exhibition.
Storytelling & Local History – Record personal stories inspired by Chard and showcase meaningful objects and ideas.
Art & Photography – Create visuals inspired by Chard and its surrounding landscape to shape the look and feel of the digital museum.
Digital Music & Sound – Use apps and software to create soundscapes and music that reflect Chard, adding an immersive audio experience to the exhibition.
No previous experience is needed, and all equipment will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch and wear suitable clothing for spending time outdoors. This activity is led by the team at Somerset Film.
