Workshop | Patterns for Regenerative Storyworlds

  • Somerset Film at the Engine Room 50-52 High Street Bridgwater TA6 3BL United Kingdom (map)

Free, but booking is essential

Are you a Filmmaker, Scriptwriter or Director?

We have an exclusive workshop opportunity for you, which will be delivered by Climate Springs. The Patterns for Regenerative Storyworlds Workshop

The session will introduce a set of "design patterns" that writers can use in their imagining of settings for their stories. It will also introduce archetypes of characters in transition. Participants will be guided through individual writing exercises to familiarise themselves with the patterns.

Climate Spring is a global organisation dedicated to shifting our cultural response to the climate crisis by championing storytelling that transforms how it is represented in film, TV, and popular culture.
They support the screen industries with early-stage development funding for scripted and unscripted projects; editorial consulting on the climate elements of film and TV content; training and world-building workshops; writers’ development opportunities; and bespoke advice on moving a project from idea to distribution.
